Organizado por La Juguetería, con taller post-porno a cargo de Beatriz Preciado y concurso de cortos porno con un jurado de lujo: Shu Lea Cheang, Jürgen Brüning y Todd Verow. El festival sigue la herencia del PornFilmFestival de Berlin y Paris. No me acaba de convencer el nombre, no creo que el porno sea sólo para adultos y de todas formas me cuesta definir qué es un adulto.

In the Web 2.0 the end consumer is at ease, thanks to a structure that involves, or even more envelops, him/her. The consumer owns all the useful instruments to make him/her a creator, and can reach the ability to build up his/her own subculture by him/herself. The technological advance widely and quickly achieved in all 2.0 communities makes the online sex an enviable forerunner of. The web-cam was already used when the first steps in Facebook were made.
The market and consumption of porn becomes an avant-garde when connected with the development of technologies and new media: it is a privileged prospective from which to analyze the World Wide Web and social interrelationships. Moreover the enlargement of the web community shows a potential rise of sexscapes and desires: any singular reflection on identity finds in the web an own dis-location.
Which Pornoscapes does the Net show nowadays? Are there any real alternatives to the porn industry’s billions of exploited and crude images crashing endlessly our mind? Looking at the structure of the Internet today, can we still find free zones or criticaltools? Are the concepts of sharing and open source, with their roots in pre 2.0 development and thought, still part of a common cultural heritage, and consequently, part of an alternative pornography?

Existen otras formas de pensar la identidad de género que ponen en tela de juicio la construcción social de los roles y los sexos. Otras aproximaciones a lo que cultural, biológica y socialmente siempre se nos ha planteado categóricamente: se nace y se es hombre o mujer.
¿Se puede disociar sexo y género?, ¿es la apariencia del cuerpo esencial para definirse?, ¿existen otras categorías?
Transvisibles. Anoche soñé… tiene como objetivo presentar una obra que muestre al usuario otras formas de entender el género y la identidad. La instalación está estructurada como un dialogo, incluso confrontación, con personas trangénero, las cuales van exponiendo sus puntos de vista y planteando argumentos sobre la conformación de la identidad.

Os recomiendo este artículo de la revista Boots, sobre la definición de queer. El artículo se llama Gender Abuse – or, what it is to be queer y en él reflexionan sobre el tema Bruce La Bruce, Miss fish, Susanne Winterling y el siempre brillante Tim Stüttgen. Este último situa el activismo post porno como una práctica interdisciplinar que re-actualiza la estética queer militante:
“At the moment I use “post porn.” Post porn activism is an interdisciplinary practice (of texts, performances, films, images, parties, practices) looking for a re-actualization of a queer militant aesthetics. These aesthetics (and ethics) are making use of the affectivity and non-human intensity of what Linda Williams has called a “body-genre.” “
