On thursday 19th at 22:00 we are presenting some of our videos, but also the videos made during the Workshops we have been doing this year on Porn and Feminism. We´ll show the work of groups working right now in Barcelona like Post Op, Alogono, Go fist foundation or Ex-dones.

We made workshops in Mambo, a feminist women house in Barcelona, in Hangar, a Center of production of multimedia arts and in the Feminist Festival of Valencia.

It will be at the Kant Kino in Kant strasse 54.

I was looking forward today to going to a cinema in the center of Berlin. I was looking forward to seeing a porn movie, a post porn movie, in a normal cinema. Tod Verow´s Bulldog in the White House. A gay movie, a very good one.

I was really excited, I had long waited for this moment to happen, after 30 years of X Cinemas, darkness and hiddenness. The emergence of a new approach to porn which has been labeled as post porn has made possible the Porn Film Festival. Three retrospectives will be screened in different cinemas around the city: Todd Verow, Maria Beatty and a retro of dutch cinema.

This is a historical moment and a political event, as it was the Deep Throat phenomeno in 1972. For the first time since porn cinema started, it was cool to go to the cinema to watch a porn movie. Thousands of people were queuing to watch the movie, and at the same time the laws were prosecuting and starting a legal battle against porn.

I was quite dissappointed because there was not many people in the cinema. Where were the queer people of Berlin? A lot of people came this weekend to the Post-Porn Politics Symposium, I really miss them today in the cinema.

Presentación de Love Art Laboratory, un proyecto de Annie Sprinkle and Elisabeth Stephens. Annie estuvo fantástica en su performance del sábado por la noche pero he quedado completamete seducida por Beth, su amante y compañera de trabajo. Forman un equipo estupendo y están guapísimas con el pelo rapado. Annie explicó que se ha cortado el pelo debido al tratamiento de quimioterapia que ha seguido en el último año debido a un cáncer de pecho. Ayer, cuando al terminar su actuación se quitó la peluca, dejó a todo el público con la boca abierta.

La performance de Shue Lea se llamaba Milk High y tenía un escenario futurista en el que se traficaba con esperma para utilizarlo como droga. Los condones rellenos de leche acabaron por los suelos, arrojados por una furibunda Shue Lea. No es fácil la vida del pornógrafo. Shue Lea es la directora de I.K.U., película que se mostrará estos días en el PornFilmFestivalBerlin y que tiene un montón de efectos especiales aunque no deja de ser una película porno convencional, con una visión de la sexualidad muy clásica y poco transgresora. El tratamiento de la imagen es muy transgresor, eso sí.

Esta deliciosa mujer es Kristy Kross, from Team Plastique, en la performance porno de Shue Lea Sheang, que finalmente fue anulada. O censurada, mejor dicho, por el Volksbhüne, asustados ante la posibilidad de que se descontrolara… empezaron prohibiendo las pollas en erección y acabaron cancelando la pieza en el último momento, para enfado de Shue Lea y desesperación de Tim, que ha estado luchando para que la performance pudiera realizarse durante meses.

Este es el teatro donde ha tenido lugar el symposium. El Volksbhüne era el gran teatro del Berlin del este y luce precioso por la noche.

Ha sido un gustazo poder conocer a Todd Verow. Hizo una presentación deliciosa: como es muy tímido, al subir al escenario se desnudó y hizo toda la conferencia vestido sólo con calcetines y zapatillas. Quiero ver más videos suyos. A Annie Sprinkle, que es toda una diva y que me ha recordado muchísimo a Ana Elena Pena, en la performance del sábado por la noche no pude dejar de pensar en ella, comparten un sentido del humor muy al borde del abismo, con mucha ironía y las dos saben cómo estar en un escenario y cautivar al público con su feminidad irónica y exagerada. O a Bruce La Bruce, que hizo una presentación brillante de su trabajo y que, aunque es un poco estrellita, es muy seductor…

Pudimos disfrutar de una espontánea actuación en vivo de la grandísima NunswithGuns, en la mismísima entrada del Volksbhune.
